The display of the item buttons in WaiterMate will automatically default to alphabetical order. This order can be rearranged by setting a sequence number to the items. The item buttons and/or Font can also easily be coloured if desired.
Step 1 - Searching for Items in OfficeMate
Navigate to the ‘Items’ screen in the navigation panel.
From the item screen, all menu items that have previously been created will be displayed. Select from the fields shown below and select from the desired drop down menu to refine the information on this screen for example, search by one menu section at a time. This often makes it easier to edit new menu items or to find an existing menu item that needs to be edited.
Step 2 - Colour and Sequence for Menu Items
From the check box on the right hand side of the screen, tick ‘Show Colours, Sequence’
Additional columns will now be displayed and can be edited by selecting each field.
Edit the colours by selecting in the field and choosing from the swatches shown below.
Edit the Sequence by entering a number directly into this field.
Foreground Colour – FONT Colour
Background Colour – BUTTON Colour
Step 3 - Downloading changes to WaiterMate
Once changes have been made and saved in OfficeMate they will require to be downloaded to Waitermate.
From the toolbar at the top of the screen, select the ‘Save’ icon.
To manually download menu changes;
· Log in to WaiterMate.
· Choose ‘System Admin’ from the bottom right hand side of any screen.
· Select the ‘System’ tab from the top of the screen.
· Select ‘Download Menu’.
Menu changes will automatically be downloaded to WaiterMate whenever a user logs out of the ordering screen.
Menu changes will also automatically be downloaded when WaiterMate restarts. This usually happens every night and does not require a manual restart.
